FTC Transportation Promotes Emory Mills to Senior Vice President
OKLAHOMA CITY (October 8, 2024) – Emory Mills was recently promoted to Senior Vice President at FTC Transportation, Inc. a wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of Feed the Children, where she has worked in operations and safety for more than 24 years.
In her new role, Emory is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the operation and leads an award-winning team of over-the-road safety professionals, mechanics, and office staff.
She began her career in the transportation industry in 1994, and in January 2000 joined the FTC Transportation team. Before moving into her current role, she served as the Vice President at FTC Transportation as well as Director of Safety & Driver Administration, working with FTC Transportation’s driving force to achieve their mission to be the safest in the industry.
Emory also served on the Oklahoma Safety Management Council for five years in various board positions, chaired the Oklahoma Truck Driving Championships and Fall Safety Seminar and acted as the liaison to the Oklahoma Trucking Association. She earned her Director of Safety certification through NATMI in 2009 and was named the 2015 Safety Professional of the Year by the Oklahoma Trucking Association. In 2022 she was presented the Clare C. Casey Award by the Truckload Carriers Association as the Safety Professional of the Year.
