Feed the Children is dedicated to ending childhood hunger both at home and abroad
In fiscal year 2022, through collaboration with our family of corporate and community partners, donors and volunteers, our work benefited more than 11.5 million people globally.
In the United States, we distributed more than 86.2 million pounds of food and essential items to children and families who needed them. Our total outreach benefited more than 8.2 million people in the communities where they live including areas struck by natural disasters.
Internationally, our work reached more than 3.3 million people throughout the 8 countries where we are active as we provided nearly 36 million meals.
To support education initiatives, we provided more than $3.8 million worth of teaching supplies across the U.S. as well as books valued at more than $5.3 million that could benefit approximately 873,000 students.
With proper nutrition early in life, children can grow, develop and thrive to their full potential.
Children around the world are given the educational materials needed for success in the classroom with the help of corporate partners and educators.
When we work with community partners, we support our neighbors and work together towards recovery.
Poverty leads to hunger — but if we work together, we can create a world where no child goes to bed hungry.
Through our programs, we promote healthy immune systems and enable children to develop through adolescence and into adulthood.
Through our Village Savings and Loan programs, we hope families will be self-reliant, financially stable and able to support and strengthen their communities.
As we embark on the next five years in our history, we are inspired, and we remain committed to doing our part to create a world where no child goes to bed hungry.Learn More
Feed the Children’s summer feeding program is designed to help bridge the gap for kids who rely on school breakfasts and lunches when school is not in session. We are working with community partners to make sure food reaches hungry families by delivering meals door-to-door or through curbside pickup distribution. The program will serve families and children throughout the summer with the help of community partners who are looking for innovative ways to defeat hunger.
Our work helps families in the United States, and in 8 countries around the world. The personal connections created in the course of our work are the heart and soul of what we do. Click below to read stories from our donors, volunteers, beneficiaries, and partners.Learn More
