Our association with Office Depot over the past twelve years has made a difference In the lives of students, communities, and individuals across the country and around the world. Since Its founding in 1979, Feed The Children has reached out to help children and families in the U.S. and around the world. The heart of Feed The Children's U.S. program is distributing food and essentials such as educational supplies to children and families in need. (Learn about our Educational Program)

For more than three decades, Feed The Children has grown into one of the world's largest private organizations dedicated to helping hungry and hurting people. Last year, Feed The Children shipped 133 million pounds of food and other essentials to children and families in all 50 states and internationally.

To partner with Feed The Children and the #depotdifference Product Donation Program, your organization must meet the following guidelines and criteria.

Guidelines & Criteria

  • Have an IRS designation as a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization
  • Fill out and return the Office Depot Application and supporting documents to Feed The Children
  • Promise never to charge for the goods provided by Feed The Children and Office Depot

Benefits of 501(C)(3) status

  • Exempt from applicable federal Income taxes
  • Eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable donations (See this IRS document In PDF format on applying for tax-exempt status)

Additional guidelines

  • The organization may not be located In a private residence.
  • The organization Is required to have a minimum of six (6) months of operation experience.
  • The distributing Partner Agency may receive no monetary compensation for the product distributed.
