This is the reality of hunger and poverty here in America, and around the world:
September is Defeat Hunger month. For Feed the Children, this month means raising awareness for the crisis of hunger – a crisis that has only been exacerbated by the pandemic these past few months. It means asking others to take bold action in helping us to fortify our efforts to help families and communities achieve stable lives, while providing food and resources to help them today. It also means deeper collaboration with public and private partners to ensure everyone, everywhere, has access to the safe, healthy and nutritious food they need. This year, more than ever before, we must unite to strengthen our efforts to defeat hunger, at home and around the world.
