Sally has seen the struggle with her own eyes. She was born and raised in Cameroon, and her experiences growing up there, plus her travels to other West African countries like Nigeria and Ghana, showed her how urgent the need is for basic things like food, water and education.
So just after she moved to the U.S., Sally joined the fight against hunger by becoming a Feed the Children donor.
Once you’ve seen hunger, you can’t unsee it. Sally has lived in the U.S. for over a decade now, and she sees the need here, too. So a lot of her gifts go to feed hungry kids in the U.S. because, she says, “The need is so great everywhere.”
With the harsh reality of life in West Africa never far from her thoughts, Sally has seen the difference Feed the Children has made. She hopes to someday serve there as a volunteer. “There is so much to be done and I want to be a part of it.”
