5 Million Lose Their Homes in China Quake -- Tents, Food and Relief Supplies Still Urgently Needed

UPDATED JUNE 19, 2008

The survivors of the devastating 7.9 magnitude Sichuan earthquake that struck on May 12 are still working hard to put their lives back together. The death toll now stands at 87,000, many of which were children.

Five million people lost their homes; millions more were displaced by flooding in the weeks that followed the quake. The flooding is reported to be the worst in 100 years in some areas. Many survivors have nowhere to turn.

Food, tents, and other essentials are still needed for the survivors.

Feed The Children has already sent enough food to provide 1 million meals to aid the victims of this disaster, and tents and other emergency relief essentials are on the way.

Feed The Children is working hard to send more aid to the victims of this catastrophic earthquake. Your help is still needed!

Please help us deliver food, tents and essentials to those traumatized and displaced by this disaster.
