Feed The Children Joins Teleperformance in "Citizen of the World" Charitable Initiative
Feed The Children is proud to announce a partnership with Teleperformance through a charitable initiative called "Citizen of the World."
Teleperformance is the #2 worldwide leader on the global outsourced contact center market, with a range of services including customer service, technical assistance, debt collection, and customer acquisition.
The "Citizen of the World" initiative promotes a work place giving campaign to support hungry children at home and abroad. Cash and gift-in-kind donations provided by generous Teleperformance employees to Feed The Children will help fund abandoned baby shelters, food and medical provisioning, computer and educational supplies to impoverished schools, and much more!
Daniel Julien, Founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Teleperformance, announced the selection of Feed The Children as its primary charitable partner based on Feed The Children's well established and respected relief work with infants and children in 118 countries. Mr. Julien stated, "[Feed The Children] provides relief on a completely non-political and non-denominational basis and it was important to us that our partner renders aid when and where it is needed most." Mr. Julien recently announced the charitable commitment at the 2006 Clinton Global Initiative where he was a member on global health issues.
Feed The Children and its employees extend a heartfelt thanks to the many thousands of dedicated and generous Teleperformance employees. Teleperformance employees' financial support, personal time and sacrifice will encourage and sustain Feed The Children's work around the world. Together Feed The Children and Teleperformance will make a powerful impact on global hunger!
