Mass Deworming - Feed The Children

EATEN ALIVE - The Importance of Mass Deworming

Feed The Children understands the importance of providing the overall basic essentials needed for children around the world in order to help break the cycle of poverty. That is why we go into the areas of greatest need to bring help and hope.

To help break the cycle of poverty, Feed The Children focuses on many areas, including treating worm infections.

Did you know?
At this very moment, more than 400 million children are currently infected with parasitic worms. In third world areas of Central America, Asia and Africa, worm-related illnesses are epidemic.

Worms can consume up to 1/3 of a child's nutritional intake leading to severe pain, weight loss and diarrhea, the leading cause of death in children world-wide.

The good news is that there is a simple solution. Worm-related infections are reversible through medications such as Mebendazole, a chewable tablet. Just one or two doses a year can efficiently and effectively treat the infection.

This is just one of the many ways Feed The Children helps children internationally. When you donate now, you can help provide the most basic of needs to children around the world.

Please, make the decision to change a life. Now.
