In a tiny shack made of scrap tin, a baby bottle sat on the dirt floor. Inside was just a splash of milk... and baby Lucy's last few drops of hope.

That milk was all Lucy's mother had to feed her bone-thin two-month-old. Once it was gone, it was gone. There was nothing more -- only the fear of what to do next.

Lucy's mother was so malnourished she couldn't produce milk to feed her baby girl. And she had no means to buy formula or milk. If something did not happen fast ... Baby Lucy would grow weaker and weaker -- until death came for her.
