TELEPERFORMANCE GROUP PARTNERS WITH FEED THE CHILDREN TO HELP OHIO FAMILIES

400 FAMILIES TO RECEIVE FOOD AND ESSENTIALS

FAIRBORN, Ohio (Dec. 19, 2011) – On Tuesday, Dec. 20, Feed The Children will deliver a semi tractor-trailer full of food and essentials to the Fairborn Community Center at 1076 Kauffman Ave.  The food and essentials will be distributed to students and their families beginning at 9 a.m.

Teleperformance is a longtime supporter of Feed The Children and is sponsoring the event.  Employees from the Fairborn call center will be on hand to help distribute boxes. This is the 14th food distribution sponsored by Teleperformance employees this year.

Community Action Partnership has identified the recipient families. Each family will receive a 25-pound box of food and a 10-pound box of personal care items. The boxes are designed to help a family of four, for up to one week.

More than one in four children living in Fairborn (26.3%) is considered impoverished. The number of impoverished Ohio (527,329) children could fill The University of Dayton Arena more than 39 times.

“We are so thankful to Teleperformance for helping to provide the food and essentials to students and their families,” said Tony Sellars, spokesperson for Feed The Children. "We hope more people will respond to help us put more trucks on the road and provide assistance for fellow Americans who are suffering through the current economic downturn.”

“We are so happy to once again have the opportunity to serve our local community,” said Ezra Ross-Saunders, Ambassador, Citizens of the World for Teleperformance. “Our volunteers come away from the event with a sense of pride, an acute awareness of the importance of helping in the community and a lifetime memory.  I’m proud to have served as the Ambassador of Citizens of the World for the last four years at the Fairborn site.”
