Teleperformance and Feed the Children Join to Fight Child Hunger in Columbia Community

, – Teleperformance will join forces with God’s Storehouse and Feed the Children to fight child hunger in the Columbia community. The community partners will come together to provide food and essentials to 400 families, pre-identified based on need by God’s Storehouse. The families will gather at Teleperformance (2340 Broad River Rd.), Tues., June 5, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Each participating family will receive a 25-pound box of food such as canned vegetables, peanut butter and mac ‘n cheese; a 15-pound box of essentials like personal-care items such as shampoo, razors and toothpaste; and a box of Avon products. The provided food and essentials will help families in need of basic materials most people take for granted.

“Being able to help the community and feed so many families truly brings out the passion in our people,” said Chris Naylor, Call Center Manager. “Our community partners are also amazing for being part of our event. We are proud to be part of the Teleperformance.”

This is one of many events Feed the Children has planned with Teleperformance across the country to help defeat hunger. In Columbia alone, nearly 23 percent of families live below the poverty line. With the help of community partners and volunteers, we can help feed those in need.

“Today, we are not only providing food and necessities to these families—but also hope,” said Travis Arnold, Feed the Children president and CEO. “Hope for a better future in Columbia is made possible thanks to our partners at Teleperformance and God’s Storehouse who play a vital role in helping us create a world where no child goes to bed hungry.”
