FTC Transportation, Inc. Receives Two Platinum Awards from Great West Casualty Company

Award Marks Seventh Platinum Recognition for Workplace and Highway Safety

OKLAHOMA CITY, – FTC Transportation, Inc., Feed the Children’s dedicated carrier was recently presented with two platinum awards by Great West Casualty Company for Highway Safety and Workplace Safety. It is FTC Transportation’s sixth year to be presented with the Platinum Award in Great West’s Safety Awards Program for Outstanding Achievement in Highway Safety. FTC Transportation earned a Platinum Award in their Safety Awards Program for Outstanding Achievement in Workplace Safety for six years since 2009, and a Gold Award in 2012.

The Workplace Safety Awards program recognizes trucking companies for their dedication to creating and fostering a safe work environment for their employees. The Awards are based on a motor carrier’s year-end workplace incident rate. The National Safety Awards program recognizes motor carriers in similar operations with awards based on their year-end preventable crash results.

“It is a great honor to be recognized for our highway and workplace safety,” said Greg Garen, President of FTC Transportation Inc. “We strive to make safety our top priority and I am very proud of our entire team for making that possible. I’m elated to accept this award on behalf of our dedicated team.”
