Award Marks Fifth Consecutive Recognition for the Company
OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA., – FTC Transportation, Inc., Feed the Children’s dedicated carrier, was one of 20 for-hire trucking companies recently named a 2017 Best Fleets to Drive For by the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) and CarriersEdge. FTC Transportation’s fifth consecutive award was announced in late January.
In order to be considered for the Best Fleets program, companies operating 10 or more trucks were required to receive a nomination from at least one of its company drivers or owner-operators. CarriersEdge interviews representatives of the nominated fleets and evaluates the driver programs.
“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized for the fifth consecutive year as one of only 20 fleets to be named a Best Fleets to Drive For in North America,” said Greg Garen, President of FTC Transportation, Inc. “I am very proud of our entire team for making our driver experience one of the best in the transportation industry. It was exciting to accept this award on behalf of our dedicated team.”
In past years, FTC Transportation has been selected as the Best Overall Fleet to Drive For in the small-carrier category by TCA and recognized for excellence in highway safety in its home state of Oklahoma.
FTC Transportation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Feed the Children — one of the largest U.S.-based charities. Established in 1986, FTC Transportation assists in the pickup and delivery of hunger-relief items and disaster essentials throughout the United States — which is just one of the many things that helps to differentiate Feed the Children from other hunger charities. FTC Transportation also provides competitive truckload hauling throughout the country as a full-contract carrier.
