Beech-Nut Nutrition Company and Feed the Children Work Together to Brighten the Day for Families in Amsterdam

Community Partners Help 400 Local Families

Amsterdam, NY, – Beech-Nut® Nutrition Company, Feed the Children and Catholic Charities joined forces today to help serve families in need from Montgomery and Fulton counties. The community partners came together to provide food and essentials to 400 families at Beech-Nut Nutrition Company in Amsterdam this afternoon.

The families received a 25-pound box of food, a 15-pound box of essentials (such as shampoo, conditioner and personal care items), a 5-pound box of assorted personal care products as well as children’s books.

Beech-Nut Nutrition has been a partner of Feed the Children for more than 25 years. This year alone, Beech-Nut Nutrition has donated more than three million jars of food to help families across the nation.  This is just one of the many events Feed the Children and community partners have planned across the country to help feed those in need.
